About Us
Placement Africa is a pioneering, Africa-led consultancy committed to helping African graduates trained abroad transition into impactful careers back on the continent.
As a flagship initiative under Southbridge Group UK, our work bridges the gap between global education and local opportunity — connecting world-class African talent with forward-looking employers and institutions across Africa.
We are headquartered in the UK, but our heartbeat is African. We’re on a mission to shift the narrative: from brain drain to brain gain, from uncertainty to opportunity.
To make “going back home” an intentional choice — not a fallback. We believe Africa’s transformation will be led by globally exposed, purpose-driven young Africans. Our role is to make that transition clear, supported, and impactful.

At Placement Africa, we operate through a three-pronged model designed to ensure a seamless, dignified, and impactful transition for African students and graduates returning from global institutions to pursue meaningful careers across the continent. Our model is grounded in partnerships, powered by talent, and led by purpose.
We offer structured support for African graduates returning from study abroad programmes to navigate the complex landscape of career reintegration into the African labour market. This includes:
• Bespoke career coaching tailored to sectoral needs in Africa
• Verified job placements with reputable employers
• Soft skills, employability, and cultural reintegration support
• Transition roadmaps that link scholars’ academic backgrounds with Africa’s development demands
